FAVOURITE SPORTING MEMORY (TRAILRUNNING, OCR, TRIATHLON, CYCLING ETC.): Tour of New Caledonia 2012(?). Amateur 11 or 12 stage (my mind glosses over some specifics to maintain my sanity) road cycling race with a minimal set of rules and off the charts craziness. Almost died, but didn’t. Like the Survivor TV series but for skinny road cyclists. Vermont World Champs Spartan Race 2013(?) for it’s epic vertical rough as guts off trail running. And general warm fuzzies towards playing rugby union as a kid.
FAVOURITE RECOVERY MEAL: Eggs and coffee. Preferably served separately. Although…
